Goa - A perfect Honeymoon Destination
Even though there are many wonderful honeymoon destinations in the world, Goa is something special. This place really puts a spell on you - ensnaring you so you always want to return. High, green and gorgeous, Goa is honeymooner's dream, a land with beaches that stretch into tomorrow. The accommodations run a tempting gamut from a sprawling seaside resort to a hyperactive all-inclusive, stylish full-service hotel.

This former Portuguese colony lies mid-way down the west coast of India. Visitors are drawn to Goa’s lush hills and cool blue waters, cathedrals and coconut groves, spice plantations and paddy fields, sun, sand and sea, for its joie de vivre and its warm and friendly people.

Hand in hans, you will fall for Goa's zesty food, music, remote beaches and hidden coves, lazy rivers for canoeing, birdsong and starry nights. Goa's vivid, engaging people will teach you to relax, take one thing at a time.

Goa - How to reach there
By Air
Goa has an international airport at Dabolim, 30 km from the capital, Panaji. Several overseas charter companies as well as most domestic airlines have flights to Dabolim. The regular domestic connections are from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kochi and Chennai. From the airport to your hotel or to any of the towns, catch a cab, a metered taxi, city buses or airline coach to their city offices.

By Train
The two main railway stations are Margao (Madgaon) and Vasco da Gama. Rail travel to Goa from most parts of India is now vastly improved with the commissioning of the Konkan Railway, the linking of Mumbai and Mangalore along the coast, as well as conversion of the track from metre to broad gauge. The major connections are to Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Rajkot and Thiruvananthapuram. From other places in the north, east and southeast you can travel to Londa Junction and then transfer to a connecting train to Margao/Vasco da Gama.

By Road
Most people prefer to travel to Goa by road. Renting a car and being independent is really the best thing, but the buses are pretty good too. Bus connections are available to Mumbai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Mysore, Pune, and other important tourist destinations in the region, operated by the Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra Road Transport Corporations and some private operators. Air-conditioned bus services are also available on some of the routes.

Goa - Habitat
Stretching 105 km along the coast and just 60 km at its widest, Goa lies on the western slopes of the Sahyadri Ranges (Western Ghats) that make up its eastern boundary. Several rivers like the Mandovi, Zuari, Chapora and the Terekhol rise in the Western Ghats (low ranges that taper down from the Deccan Plateau to the sea), and flow into the Arabian Sea. The rivers break the coast into fascinating bays and estuaries with picturesque palm-fringed beaches. The state neatly divides into two, North and South Goa. The state capital Panaji lies in North Goa, as do the towns of Mapusa and Old Goa, the old Portuguese capital. The towns in South Goa are Margao and Vasco da Gama, the main harbour and port city of Goa.

Panchgani
A close neighbour of Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani is a picturesque and frequented hill resort. This is an ideal base for some good trekking. Situated at an altitude of 1334m, it gets its name from the five hills around it. Tucked away in Satara district, it is best approached from Pune. The way to Panchgani from Mahabaleshwar, which is 18 kms, is absolutely spectacular. The Krishna River that meanders through the farms, ravines and hamlets on one side and the coastal plains on the other side has a special charm. Panchgani displays architecture of Old British buildings and Parsi houses. Horses are the best mode of travelling, which will gently gallop you through the thick, lush green trees, to unmarked routes, to the caves and the Kamalgad fort. The bazaar is also a place worth visiting. For long distances though taxis are available, bicycles and horses are the best mode of transport.

I took Club Mahindra membership about 1 and half years back and till date have not been able to avail a holiday. Though I took membership for the ’Red Season’...tried 3 times for accommodation..2-3 months in advance....never got 1 yet. Though I paid 50% of the Membership Fee, have decided to cancel the membership.
Member Relations is simply pathetic...no words to describe. The company seems to be full of lethagic people, to the extent that even when my Card changed, no one followed up for taking EMIs. I think I was foolish enough to proactively call them to deduct the EMI amount.
They seem to have got too many members and too less accommodation...the Tier system is a complete failure. Whatever Season membership you take, you need to book well in advance....(5-6 months)...Can a working person plan a holiday so much in advance? This probably only suits retired people....but on second thoughts...25 years membership for a retired person????
Though I have not availed even 1 holiday and willing to settle...the fine print clauses clearly are only in the company’s favour, which the Sales people will never tell you (READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE MEMBERSHIP RULES BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER THIS), I think I will have to write off the 1.5 lakhs already paid to them. The Member Relations executives make you run round and round in circles.
My conclusion...THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY....THE BUSINESS MODEL AND THE ORGANISATION IS A COMPLETE FAILURE. One enters with big dreams and high hopes and comes out a frustrated man. I DO NOT ADVISE THIS COMPANY OR PRODUCT SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Contracts duration vary between 3 and 9 months and in most cases you have the option to extend the contract. Almost every hospitality related job or job that you worked with customers or clients should give you enough experience and a serious chance to get hired for a number of cruise line job positions. Compared to other industries, cruise lines have a much higher employees turnover rate. Most people do not consider cruise line jobs as life-long cruise ship career, some crew members get promoted, change ships or cruise lines, go on vacation, return to school, or just settle down back on land. For that and many other reasons cruise lines are ALWAYS HIRING and looking for new personnel. There are cruise line jobs for just about everyone. Cruise lines hire applicants from almost every country in the world. Many entry-level positions are also available. Regardless of your nationality or previous employment experience there is a job for you aboard the hundreds of cruise ships operating worldwide.
